| Today afternoon, I was informed that professor Landes, an instructor of
my microeconomic class, has passed away on Monday. That what I came up
in two hours, because it is hard to continue to write about a person I
barely know him; I don't know what he did, I don't know how he
contributed to our community and I don't even know how he became
disable. However, one thing I know for sure is that he was a excellent
and passionate teacher who cared about his students and willingly
helped out the students( he brought the appointment sheet in every
lectures to ask students who needed to meet him to sign up ). Too bad,
I don't know him that well and too bad, the other students never have a
chance to know him in person. I am so fortunate to be in his class and
I learned a lot from him. In brief, it is a big loss to us that he
won’t be able to teach.
Well, I just can’t accept the fact he’s gone because I just met him on
Friday in class for the mid-term. Funny thing is that his last word to
me is “go back to your seat and take your exam”; o well, I just wish
his last word to me is other than this, but I’m sure I will bring a
good eraser to the next exam and stop bothering professor for such a
tiny thing. I think I will miss his lecture, his PowerPoint
presentation and his extremely massive table. I can see this guy tried
as hard as he could to teach, but it is a shame that I didn’t try as
hard as I could to learn. Finally, I’m very regret I never helped him
clean up the desk which I would really love to do so, yet it seems to
be impossible to have a chance to him out.
Life is short. Who would knows what happens next? Part of me is still hoping it’s just very poor practical joke.
| well, it has been long time since I wrote my last blog. Gosh, I can't believe I gonna turn 19 soon. Anyways, I'm more busy than I expect in this semester ( I don't take any english classes in this semester, so it should be less work to do ><). Yet, the truth is not. Exam after Exam, Test after Test. I did't really have a time to do things except studying. And I'm so regreted to take Art Hist instead of Music appreciation( so waste of my time to study Art history and the lecture is so boring that I fall asleep everytime). Organic Chemistry is a total disaster, period. How can I do well on my upper-div courses if I don't even master OChem? Those stupid chiral thing drives me nut.it seems to me that I gotta spent twice a time on OChem in order to get a B for next test. Otherwise, I think I will just drop the class.

| Summer school finally started at one week ago. After a semester later, I begin my course at 9 o'clock again, which, is, of course, really early for me.Another bad thing about the summer school is that I had to go to the same class section Mon to Fri. Oh man , I get used to go to class couples hrs for every other days. Gotta study the same subjects for like couples hrs; very boring.

| I just realized that I haven't written a blog since Feb
(except the one about the bike trip when happened, of course, after the spring
semester). The reason is really simple; the coursework almost brought me down. Anyways,
the lesson I learn is that don't take eng and Bio as the same time, because
both of' the coursework is like X_X.( I already stopped counting how many times
I worked overnight for eng, while bio exam was on the upcoming day) It drove me
mad, particularly on the final exam week( working on the 10 page research paper
and I didn't study for bio at all =__=!!!). Anyways. I'm glad it's all over; I
don't care my grade at all. I hope summer course will be easier; I pick the
eassy class; Phy( the easier one, not the Calculus one.BTW, I got B in Calculus;
I know I'm loser...but I can't learn much from the Spanish accent teacher at
nigh) and Asian American study (hope it's easy A class). In short, I thought i
have my dream schedule ever, but it turns out Spring is a nightmare for me.

O, Man! What a day...As you can see the routine from the map, I
rode the long joinery from the fd's home (near city college) to get a
bike and began our insane and stupid bike trip to golden gate park
(Were u out of ur fucking mind? yes, I was). At the end, all I can get
is pain and chilly . p.s Sorry, this is the correct version of the routine :P View Larger Map
